We hand-dyed this dress in Brooklyn using the “leheriya” rope-tying technique that originates in India, to create bright, diagonal stripes across the body. The pink and marigold palette evokes a summer sunset.

This bias cut 100% silk charmeuse slip dress is lightweight, breathable, and versatile; it can be worn effortlessly during the day or dressed up for the evening. It also pairs perfectly layered over one of our tie-dye turtlenecks.

Lined at the bust, SVNR’s signature midi-length slip has a scoop back, adjustable straps, and drawstring for optional ruching on one side. Cowrie shells, tiny but powerful symbols of the ocean, are attached at the ends of ties.

Variations in color and pattern are part of the unique and natural charm of hand-dyeing; each dress is unique and may differ from the one shown here.

100% silk, hand wash in cold water or dry clean.
